Are You Sirius?

On the way home from work today, I heard a commercial for Sirius satellite radio...on the radio. Wouldn't that be like turning to your husband and saying, "I like you and everything honey, but I'm phasing you out for someone who doesn't talk so much. Here, carry this sign around advertising for my new boyfriend who will render you obsolete."

Hahaha... some little advertising assistant was probably focused more on her sales than on content. She's probably out looking for a new job and a bottle of brunette hair dye.

Maybe if you paid him enough?

Naw Jt... the advertising assistant helped her AE gain a commission on the evil sattelite ads... no one is really worried about sattelite overtaking local radio as a top choice medium. Sure there's lots of songs or news, but who's going to tell you about the Beaumont School Districts screwing up the children? Never Sirius, no Sir -ius. Radio, like politics, is all local.

JT - Only a blonde could leave that comment.

John - That's it!

LG - You can't fool me, LG. I know who you are. I bow to your always great radio wisdom.

The ones that confuse me are the ads for high definition television during regular TV. You either already have HDTV, and therefore don't need their product, or you don't have it and consequently can't see the difference they're trying to show you. Weird.

Funny blog!

Jen - Yeah! Those are weird, too!
