Here's a variation for you that I stumbled across recently. Get the plain frozen veggies and cook them in a little Balsamic Viniagrette salad dressing. Can use for the meat too. Kind of sweet and kind of savory taste.
Definitely. Also, Italian salad dressing makes a great marinade for chicken. Put raw chicken in dressing for at least 30 minutes. (Sometimes I put the frozen chicken in the dressing and let it stay all day as it defrosts.) After marinating, put chicken in baking dish in the oven. This is not as timely as your process, but it's pretty much hands-off. I search for minimal time or hands-off recipes! :)

I'm going to tell Rachel Ray on you.
Rachel might be mad, but then again, she's all about finding something quick for dinner. She might be down with it... Nah, prolly not.
That sounds like how I used to eat when I cooked for myself.
Zina - Go ahead. I got her beat by about 20 minutes.
Jen - Can't get much quicker than this.
Neal - It was actually quite good. Since I'm just cooking for me, I can get creative.

SO - That sounds delicious. Italian dressing would be good, too, wouldn't it?

SO - Thanks!
Is that for when you are super-hungry or just in a rush?
Astrid - Both!
