So far this morning:
1. The chick at the doctor’s office was rude to me when I called to check on lab results.
2. It’s only 10:00 a.m. and my desk looks like I didn’t even come in this weekend.
3. I can’t catch the classic rock station out of Houston anymore.
Regarding problem number 3, I brought the following CD’s with me this morning for my personal listening pleasure:
1. The Best of the Moody Blues
2. Mexican Spaghetti Western (Chingon – Director Robert Rodriguez’s band)
3. Waiting for My Rocket to Come (Jason Mraz)
4. Songs About Jane (Maroon 5)
5. Get Born (Jet)
I think I’ll put in Mexican Spaghetti Western right before I go to the doctor at 12:45 p.m. and have a little talk with that chick at the doctor’s office. Anyone have a poncho and a cigar I can borrow.

no Al Stewart??????
I don't remember having any problems with FM stations while passing through Beaumont, but, you can never go wrong with the Moody Blues. BTW, Bud keeps feeling better and better, but he's not even close yet to being healthy again.
Cumulus (broadcasting) switched their NewsTalk to 97.1 and the rock went somewhere else - try 103.7 (or 103.3, I forget) for rock n roll out of Houston.. If you like all kinds of rock edged tunes then 99.9 from Liberty is good when they're not talking. But the best News and Talk of course are at 1340 and 1380 AM in Beaumont and worldwide at: newsradiofox.com LG
Best of the Moody Blues. Does that include "In Your Wildest Dreams?" I love that song.
I just recently changed doctor's offices because, although the doctors were fantastically wonderful, the staff that "greeted" me (if you can call it that) on the phone or in person were so incredibly rude that I dreaded going to the office or calling for any reason. I now have a doctor's office who treats me so kindly that I have no idea why I put up with the other office for so long...
Just got the Maroon5, its pretty good. Moody Blues is ALWAYS good.
I'm addicted to the last 3 cds on your list. ;)
My new favorite CD is Ben Folds "Songs for Silverman." Also in rotation:
Black Crowes, Greatest Hits
Led Zepplin, Greatest Hits Box Set
Dave Matthews Band, Stand Up
The new Coldplay cd comes out tomorrow and I'm extra excited. I love me some Coldplay! All I've been listening to lately is Lionel Richie. Sometimes I throw a little Percy Sledge into the mix. Oldies but goodies, for sure! I guess they'll both get the boot for the smooth sounds of Chris Martin come tomorrow :)
If you're a Robert Rodriguez fan, you should catch Del Castillo...they have a website..I think it's Delcastillomusic.com. I caught them here in San Antonio recently and they were absolutely amazing!
Susan - I only have the 2 CD's Wang Chi brought for me which I listened to all day Friday. I'm trying to pace myself.
Marinade Dave - I just can't catch the radio station at my office anymore. I can catch it everywhere else. I'm so glad Bud is doing better. Keep me posted.
LG - The problem is at my office. My little CD/radio up there won't pick up the station anymore because 103.7 is too close to 103.3 since they moved up the dial. 99.9 out of Liberty plays too much of the easy listening type oldies for my taste although I haven't listened to them in a while and, yes, they talk too much. It I listen to talk radio on purpose though, it's always 1340! :) ;) :)
Bone - Yes, it does include Wildest Dreams. It's a great CD. You should check it out.
Mike - I LOVE puns! That was funny. I was going to give myself Sirius for Christmas but my camera broke so I bought me a new digital camera instead. Perhaps with my summer bonus...hmmmm......
Poppy Cede - Yeah, I was surprised at how mad I got. I think I'll post a follow-up in a minute.
Lone Rangers - I love the Maroon 5 CD, too.
Bridget Jones - Thanks!
Michelle - Don't you just LOVE Jason Mraz. I could listen to that CD over and over and over...
Jen - I'll have to buy that Ben Folds Five and I have no Black Crowes. Time to go to Best Buy!
Fav File Clerk - I think I'll bring my Cold Play to work tomorrow.
Rowan - Robert Rodriguez is amazing. I first heard of Chingon from the Kill Bill DVD and I was amazed. I'll check out Del Castillo. Thanks for the tip!
