My 3 Cents

  1. It’s a sad state of affairs when, as war rages on in Iraq, the Anna Nicole Smith saga is the lead story every morning on the CBS Morning News.
  2. Anna Nicole buried her son in the Bahamas, ergo, the place was of significant importance to her, ergo part two, she should be buried there with her son. Simple. End of story.
  3. Call me when the DNA results are in on who’s the dad. Until then, there is no story.

I actually found myself drawn in to watching/listening to part of the hearing they held a few days ago. It was actually being carried live.

For about ten seconds they broke away to the studio and the anchor said: "She bought a plot for herself next to her son's in the Bahamas. Why can't they just SAY that??"

This is why I rarely turn the TV on at all anymore. The "mainstream" press has become a tabloid press.

Yeah, what we regard as news is suspect.

Laura - Even the non-cable networks have lost it! It's unbelievable.

Rhea - Absolutely.

Jen and Pokerboss - I'm a Peter Pan girl myself.

Leslie - So sad.

Laura - It's nuts.

Our latest report here in Oz has the judge being nominated for an academy award for his show of grief... now thats milking the story big time, now with Britney's attempted suicide Nicole may finally get some rest.

Peter - He was a total loon.

Unbelievably, I have been able to avoid the Anna Nicole barrage. Haven't seen it on TV, haven't read it on the net.

Leslie is the only source that keeps me updated - a news source I can trust.

Grimm - A good news source indeed.
