Seabrook Pelican Path Project

When I drive to Houston to visit my son and daughter-in-law, I pass through the little town of Seabrook. They have a project which places pelicans on properties lining the roads. I love searching for the pelicans as I drive along. Click on the link at the top of the website which says Meet the Pelicans to see all of the pelicans.

So, if you see me driving down Nasa Road 1, keep a wide berth, unless you're a colorful pelican. In that case, wave wildly. I would like that.

OOOOH! Seabrook! I grew up mostly in Clear Lake City, right around the corner. Or did I already mention that? Cuz I'm having this weird sense of deja vu...

A wonderful bird is the pelican,
His beak can hold more than his bellycan,
You open your eyes,
And say in surprise,
I wonder how in the hell-e-can.

Kaci - I do remember that. In fact, I hope I haven't already posted about these pelicans.

Lorna - Oh, I love pelicans!

Peter - Lovely, lovely.
