I've heard that the traffic in Rome is frighteningly dangerous. I've never been to Rome but I just got back from a place where everyone has the right-of-way and n0-one has the right of way all at the same time. That place is called the mall.
Just checking to see if I can do it, and I can...as for Malls, I've spend 3/4 of my lifetime leisure time in them, and nothing of note has ever happened there, except for seeing a robbery, a naked driver flashing, and my daughter being hit by a car. The driver, who was not the naked one, was in far worse shape than Sarah who was pissed off because she was running after a balloon and it got away from her.
I was in Rome once and thought I was going to be killed just in the taxi to the hotel. It was the best preparation I could have for eventually living in Israel.
I had a related (humorous) post on my own blog about driving in Israel.

Ho - It's a scary place.
Dr. Sauce - Did you just make that up? That's hilarious!
Tanda - Happy to say I made it out of there in one piece.

Glod - we'll have to compare our funny British/American words sometime.
Lorna - YOU'RE BACK!!!! Hooray! I think I got your comment problem figured out. Welcome back.
Regarding your mall comment, I'd hate to see what you call "of note".

Gavriel - Your link was funny. Israelis drive a lot like Texans.
