A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall

Bad weather here tonight. I hear the thunder and I see the lightning. Someone sent me these pictures so I thought I'd share. (These were supposedly taken somewhere in the Mid-West.)

Is that a real photo? It puts the fear of God in me and I'm not a religious man.

Well you'd better believe in G-d if you were dumb enough to stand outside and shoot those pictures.

I catch stuff with my cell phone camera becauses its always on me sometimes but I sure as hell am not going to go to get my camera and go back outside.

When the sky looks like that even remotely I am heading toward the basement. Last time we had a bad one, I couldn't even make it to the basement. The sirens went off literally as the storm hit. I headed for the apartment stairs, which has plate glass windows! Saw the trees limbs touching the ground!!! and retreated to my bathtub.

We get these strange days where everything thing seems okay, maybe a spot of rain, the air pressure starts feeling like water when you are swimmming then suddenly the sky turns green, a tornado drops, straight line winds just happen, or something like that.
