- Regarding comments, I also have a growing list of blogs that I want to read every day and just don't have time. My strategy now is that I read them all one day a week (usually Saturday or Sunday) and that's when I comment (where appropriate, as you say). Since I'm only corresponding one day a week with you guys, I started answering the comments on my blog also. I don't know if anyone comes back to read them but I enjoy doing it.
By the way, if you aren't reading Old Horsetail, yet, go there now. He's hilarious.

Hot damn! I'll go visit that sucker right now. I always did want to read some ravings by a queer old duck.
Old Horsetail - You'll love him. Wait a minute...
Dr. Sauce - Yes. I like to call it my version of A Wrinkle in Time.
As for keeping up with blogs, I read about 250 a day with minimal time investment. The secret? Use an "aggregator" such as SharpReader (http://www.sharpreader.net/). You then point it to the RSS or Atom feed URLs for the blogs your read (e.g., http://myname.blogger.com/atom.xml) and it shows up almost like in an email or news reader.
Anonymous - Although it takes a lot more time, I like to personally go to the individual blog pages. I like to see their links and sidebars and templates. Using the aggregators is like calling someone on the telephone rather than visiting them in person.
