Hello from the Redneck Riviera

Last week, I received an e-mail from somebody who reads this blog asking me if I'd like to become a member of the "Redneck Riviera" online community. Since that sounded like the name of someplace that I could not only belong, but could have created, I thought, "What the hell? It's free, I'm cheap and I do so love wasting time at my keyboard in as many ways as are humanly possible."

So, hello FROM the Redneck Riviera and TO the Redneck Riviera. (I can do both because I'm also a member of the "Back to the Future, Time Warped, Space Time Continuum" online community.) Don't ask. You wouldn't understand.

Where do I get a ticket!? I'm digging out my tank tops and cut-off jeans now.

Everyone's invited, George! (Shoes are optional, even when you dress up to go to WalMart.) www.redneckriviera.net... hope to see you there!

Jaded - I feel like I've been a redneck forever. :)

Kimmy - Thanks! Happy to be there.

George - You were the first person I thought about when I started reading the message boards. Pop over there if you haven't already and be sure to let me know your screen name.

Jaded - Excellent!

Thinking of rednecks makes me miss home. There's nothing but a bunch of coonasses over here. Haha.

Good to see rednecks getting so much exposure! I'm just stopping by from the Bayou to meet my fellow S.E. Texans.

Faith - Thanks!

George - I knew you'd love it.

Jen - Join! It's not restricted to Southeast Texas. Hell, Geoge lives "up north" in Fort Worth or some such thang.

Bhbner... - Welcome to the party! (I'll tell those Rednecks to stop exposing themselves. We seem to hve a problem with that.)

Glad you joined us girl! The more crazies, the better. I'm crazy, I'm coonass and I'm Texan. I hit the trifecta!

Laurie said...

Diana - Me, three!

Sudie Girl - I don't know. That sounds sorta high class. You might want to back off on the jerky.

Over at the Riviera we have members spannning from California to Florida... but they're all rednecks to us. All are welcome! (Just be sure and leave your political correctness behind.)

Girl, you fit in like old houseshoes. Just right! Remember our motto, "Never wear panties to a party!"

Jaded - I noticed someone was posting from either northern California or Oregon during the storms last week. Wild!

Chevy - What are these "panties" of which you speak?

George said...

Okay, I'm quitting my job and hanging out on the Riv all day. Pass the Tabasco, please; I'm feeling like pancakes for supper.

Laurie said...

George - Do you really put Tabasco on your pancakes?! I need to know before I start freaking people out at the Waffle House.
