You've probably seen this but I keep going back to YouTube and watching different versions of it. There's one where the guys watching it say, "Rewind, dude. Did you see that?"
Faith Hill's people said yesterday that she was just kidding and that she didn't know the camera was on her. I think they could have come up with a better story than that. She might have forgotten the camera was on her but professional entertainers always know when they're on camera.
Some of the public are saying Faith is upset that Carrie won and she didn't. I, personally, don't think Faith was necessarily upset that she didn't win. She was just shocked that Carrie won. I'm sure Carrie would be the first to say that it was a real shocker.
I prefer Faith's honest reaction (own it, girlfriend) to the usual nice smiley clapping. Of course, with all the flack Faith Hill is getting for this, I definitely understand the smiley clapping reaction choice.

BTW Jacaranda's and Wisteria share a similar colored blossom but that's all, our Wisteria grows more as a vine than a tree.
I am not buying the "just kidding" excuse. What else can she say now that she is caught? Was she also joking when she said "I better f---ing win"? She very arrogantly believed she had it in the bag and was OUTRAGED when she got beat out by a newbie. What a spoiled brat, sore lose she is.
I've watched this numerous times, and my interpretation is that Faith was so certain that she had won that her arms flew up victoriously as the name "Carrie Underwood" rang in her ears, which obviously shocked the shit out of her! It's unfortunate that her reaction was caught on film. It's hard to deny raw emotion. Poodles

Neil - I didn't think she had slept with anyone but she sure seemed certain she was going to win, didn't she? You have to wonder if she thought she had some inside track or scoop.
I have to take Faith's side in the fracus. I kinda think everyone who looses a big award probably has the same reaction. Faith was just the unlucky one to get caught on tv. Hell, if it would have been of us, there would probably would have been a lot of cussing go on also :) Besides, is this going to hurt Faith, she's still making more money than God should allow.

Well! I am SO out of the loop over here! Hubbie recorded the CMA's for me and burned it to DVD and is sending it to me. Now I have something to look for! I'm not a huge Faith Hill fan. IMO I think she has a great voice just not for country music. Carrie Underwood sounds great too ... however you know me...have to stick with my honeys (did I spell that right?) TByrd and Dwight...ok...way off the sbuject....I miss my country music over here!!
Hey, Texasgal! I noticed you mentioned Dwight. I am assuming you mean Yoakum. I was in Wal-Mart Tuesday evening (frozen food section) and there were boxes of Dwight Yoakum's breakfast burritos. I got on line and he also has Dwight Yoakum's Chicken Lickin'Chicken Rings. Go figure. I'll have to try these. Poodles

I didn't see ANY of the show and did not know of Faith's hissy fit...That being said, I can't believe that they beat out my girl, Martina McBride...I like Carrie but I'd like to get a little closer to Big Tim and if I have to listen to his wife's music, then so be it...
