Would You Like to Tie Me Up With Some of Your Ties, Ty? Lacey Underall, Caddyshack

I tried Thai food this weekend. Tasted like feet...very smelly, spicy feet.

I love that movie! A word of advice to any woman: Learn some Caddyshack quotes. You will be an instant hit with all the guys at any party. You'll be "that cool chick". :)

Next time try Vietnamese...there's a wonderful place in P.A my man took me to a while back. It's on Memorial and it's called Sinh's. Yeah, it'd be a drive from big, beautiful Btown, but well worth it. And as sad as it is to admit, I've never watched Caddyshack all the way thru. I know, I know...I've never been the cool chick, tho, only the mildly amusing chick. BTW, is Crockett Street and the Thanksfest on your agenda? We will be there to see Vallejo play...we never miss 'em when they play here. I suggest everyone go out and give 'em a listen, they kick ass...and you don't wanna miss my hubby showing off his salsa skills.
"cpakfix" - isn't this a 5-day antibiotic?

Mrs. F - You are definitely underestimating your cool chick factor. I love Vietnamese food. I'll have to check out that Port Arthur place.

I will indeed be on Crockett Street for Vallejo. I haven't seen them in ages and they're great. I'll look for you guys.

My wife and I went to a pre-holiday party earlier this week and my wife busted out 2 priceless guy-movie quotes
When we got to the party, the host and several people were out looking at the dent in a classic red chevelle - she busts out with
"Don't worry, my dad's a television repair man, he's got an awesome set of tools" - ala "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". All of the guys turned and looked at her with amazement, one saying "did she just pull a Jeff Spicoli"
Later when helping in the kitchen she spouted "This one goes to 11" - Yes - Spinal Tap. Yeah I knew I had the coolest wife at the party.

Cooked in the right hands Thai food can be a magnificent obsession. But like any food cooked in the wrong hands it could taste like wet, spicy feet. By the way, you didn't try this at a Beaumont restaurant did you? Is there a Thai restaurant here? I do love L & T's Vietnamese/Chinese on College Street.

Al - You got a good one! This is Spinal Tap is one of my favorites.

Dick - I must confess that I bought it in the frozen food section at Kroger. So, I realize it doesn't really count.

tigmmho - Hahahaha! That's a good one!
