I Want To Be Sedated

Below are my last purchases before my 40 day moratorium on shopping during Lent...

...long live the Ramones!

Oh! I came to remind you, fellow NUN, but no need, I see :)

I was almost relieved today: finally something is stopping me buying the books, CDs, bedspreads (I never cover that bed anyway), soft brush for my keyboard (how sick is that)...

COurage to us all!

Laurie!
I meant to tell you I jumped on the NUNS bandwagon and am doing this for Lent also. So far, I'm about 15 hours into it and have bought nothing frivolous!
Go me!

I love the Ramones, still can't believe they're almost all gone, I grew up listening to those guys.

I saw the coolest baby shirt the other day, the front is the Ramones logo, the back says:

"Gabba Gabba Goo!"

My wife is expecting, so I will be buying that one.

So did you really need a new pair of sunglasses?

Aisha - I know what you mean. For 40 days, I don't have to argue with myself about whether or not to buy something. Good luck to you, too!

Renee - Good for you. I can't wait to hear how you do.

Danno - You'll have to take a picture of your little Ramone. Will you name him/her Joey, Dee Dee or Johnny?

Lorna - One can never have too many sunglasses.

Joey died not too long ago. I read an interview with him, he was pretty much conservative in the political spectrum, atleast at that point in time.

need dope persons to manage my incessantly waning aggressions.

D. X. - Amen.

Neal - I've been talking up Antarctica to some of my women friends. Maybe I'll be able to send you some company. Not everyone has to be a scientist correct?

Anonymous - Great Word Veri thingy!

Neal said...

No, not everyone is a scientist. If they can cook, splice cables, hammer a nail, use a wrench, or drive a forklift, they should be golden. Unfortunately, by the time they get here I'll be leaving. :(

Neal - I'll just send them up to you in Colorado.
