Just... - Regarding the tunnels - HAHAHAHA!! Regarding the contrast, I should probably rename the post to "Yin and Yang" or something like that. I actually came across the India train after I had already posted the Japanese train and felt like they just went together.
I was so lucky when I lived in NYC. I commuted against traffic, from Astoria into Flushing. I always got a seat to myself and I was able to read about 4-6 books a week.

Ok, so maybe it's not so bad on London's Tube. Well, except for Friday and Saturday nights ;-)
I like the contrast between the quiet insistence of the first video and the "we did it" cheering of the second. Hope there weren't tunnels.

I couldn't get the first video to load so I didn't get it, but the comments make it reasonably clear. :)
Ok, when I reloaded the main blog page, the first video worked. :) That gave me some bad flashbacks to living in Chicago.

Holy cow! I'm so glad that I don't live in a big city or commute to a big city! Though I can't imagine it would legal to ride atop a train in America!
Adela - Oh, my!
Anonymous - That sound wonderful.
Alyson - Living here does have some perks.
