Awesome!!! You'll have to tell us all about it.

Your scary ghost experience? Totally gave me the willies!

I can't say I've ever had an experience where I've seen something like that. Most of the weird things that happen to me, happen in dreams.

The most recent: Shortly after we moved into our house, I had a dream that I came through our dining room and there was a door where the window usually is. I walked out and saw an old woman with almost no hair and a voice like I'd never heard. She knew my name and when I asked who she was, she said, "Oh, I know you." When I got closer to her, she was holding a tiny baby against her chest. The baby was crying. The woman's fingers were like little stubs - as if they'd been cut off. They looked awful and the image of those terrible hands stroking that crying baby scared me. A few weeks later, I met one of our neighbors - and she was the lady from my dream. The very lady. She looked like her and more than anything, she sounded like her, although nothing was wrong with her hands, except that they were arthritic.

This will sound totally crazy, but I firmly believe that woman had something to do with my miscarriage earlier this year. She had come to visit me after she'd heard we were expecting and she put her hands on my belly. I remember thinking about that dream I had and her awful looking hands. A week later, I found out I had lost the baby. Since I've been pregnant this time, I've been avoiding her like the plague. It amazes Dave as I've never been terribly susperstitious. But, I can't shake the feeling that her putting her hands on my belly had something to do with it. Weird.

Leslie - Maybe the dream was more of a premonition and the miscarriage perhaps wasn't really caused by the lady. You dreamed you were going to meet her and she had deformed fingers. In the dream, you saw them as deformed but they were, in actuality, arthritic. The premonition dream was also a premonition of the miscarriage.

I only say all that because it scares me to death to think that there is such evil in the world as what that lady might have possibly done. I know it's out there but I just can't wrap my mind around it.

That is so damn cool. I would love to start going to more of those haunted places, but due to the wonderful wife's bun in the oven, we decided to play in safe.

Grimm - Absolutely!
