Let's Save Some Money
You know how when you're checking out your merchandise and the cashier asks you, "Do you have a [fill in the blank] card?" your first reaction is, "Just check out my groceries and let me get the hell out of here."?
Next time they ask you that question at a Hallmark store, CVS or Kroger, think twice before saying no. You can actually save money with these cards.
I occasionally get coupons in the mail from Hallmark for anywhere from $5 to $10 off my next purchase as well as all kinds of other special offers. If you have a CVS card, be sure to watch your receipts. Your "Extra Care Dollars" are at the bottom of your receipt and you will sometimes get them through e-mail. With your Kroger card, you not only save money on groceries, you can also save money on gas.
These are the only three cards I use regularly. If you have others you like, let us know in the comments.

I just received a $2 kick-back from my CVS card. Good deal.
Alot of movie theatres have them. With ours at Regal we just scan and you let the points add up and when you hit certain levels of points you get free stuff.
I know Barnes & Noble, Borders and Best Buy has cards. Best Buy gives you money when you reach certain level.
Shpec's Likker haz a(hic) caaaaaaaaaaaard.
I wish the UK stores would offer keyring tags. I rarely remember to carry my loyalty cards. Mostly the card gives you "points" rather than money off at the till. I am not sure what the points go towards.
I have a CVS and Krogers, which is cool since they are right across the street from one another. I never have the CVS card, but they always give me 10% off anyway. And another card, so now I have 8-10 of them. Have you had anyone ask you if you qualify for a sr. citizen's discount yet? I haven't, and I feel sorry for the first clerk/cashier who does ask.
I still have an Albertson's card, I just don't have an Albertson's. I carry that one with me at all times, but not the CVS. I think I still have some Green Stamps, too.
Our shoppers DrugMart not only offers cards but every so often they'll give you 20 times the points, and I have a DS Lite and a Wii to prove it, not to mention the many times I've splurged on lipstick.
Everybody - We're all big savers! Inca, I think I still have some Big Bonus stamps somewhere.
At Krogers you can also have them send donations to the charitys or others on their list--just ask them about it. So,you can save money & make a donation at the same time. We send ours to our church's day school.
Anonymous - Now that you mention it, I think you can donate to schools, too.
