Below is a slideshow of some of the fascinating things I saw on my walk this afternoon. I saw a good looking guy jogging but I was afraid he might find me odd if he heard the click of my camera as he jogged away from me. Maybe tomorrow, ladies.
I found the Victorian house I was looking for on my Sunday walk but I didn't have my camera with me. When I left the house Sunday, my neighborhood was on the fringes of a thunderstorm so, I was in a bit of a hurry when I left the house trying to beat the storm and I forgot to grab my camera.
I asked my daughter-in-law later if it was better to walk in the middle of the street, away from trees, and thus become the tallest thing in the area and a certain lightning target or was it better to walk closer to the trees so they would be the victim of a lightning strike. She called me Monday night and told me about a group of men in Houston who were standing under a tree and were all injured in a lightning strike. Her educated opinion: don't walk in a thunderstorm...period. Good advice.

Stay away from trees.
Squirrels are designer rats.
Where's the picture of the Victorian House?
I have a new blog.
Never mind, I misread about the Victorian House.
I saw a lightning strike about 100 yards away from the interstate today as I was driving home. I was on the phone with my mom and *think* that the cell network cut out before she heard me finish the exclamation, "Holy Sh--"...
Laurie- Pls don't walk if its dangerous! The point of doing a two month challenge was so all these things will even out over the time. Soon it will be tornadoes here and I won't walk then.
Laura- Interesting start of your new blog. I think I might know someone who did the Marshall proto. I will chaek it out and let you know.
Laura - Your blog is very interesting. I've bookmarked it. Hope you feel better soon. "Designer rats"...that's funny!
Jen - I saw a lot right outside my window at work today which also made me rethink my plan to walk even if it's raining.
Susan - I didn't know you had tornadoes in Minnesota. Interesting.
Laura and Susan - I want to see pictures of you women on your blogs!! People love pictures, especially me. Show us those big smiles!
Hi Laurie , like your new banner.
oo, I love this "what I saw on my walk" game; can I play it too? Everyone should, what fun!
I saw lots of rain on my walk yesterday (see my backtalkin blog for proof!) I had to peel clothes in the garage before going in. Funny, I'd never been naked in my garage before. First time for everything.
Peter - Thanks!
Gnight Girl - Yes, let's spread the word. Everyone should start walking and don't forget the camera. I'll do a post about it tonight. We'll think of some way to link us all together.
On another note, I remember being naked in my laundry room the other day but I don't remember why.
:)
Laurie, I am ambivalent about photos online. (There are some, but I don't make it easy to find them.)
Susan, I look forward to hearing about your friend's experience. I will look him/her up on the MP bbs if you can give me the bbs login ID.
oops, left out "of myself" in the first sentence above.
Yeah, those are the demonic rat squirrels that are living in your attic.
Those things look like total evil.
We are talking Omen evil.
Grimm - Oh, my! I hadn't thought of that.
I'd still suggest staying away from trees. There were two people over here killed in a span of two hours from being squashed by a fallen tree. That was Wednesday, then yesterday there was a tree that fell and crushed a parked car and another that took down a light pole.
Texas Gal - Oh, man! I didn't even consider that one might actually fall on me. Hahahaha! Wait, that's not funny.
