The Great Walk Challenge Takes a Dramatic Turn

My friends Jack and Susan and I are having a two-month contest to see who can walk the most steps. During the first week of the competition, the numbers (which you can find on my sidebar) bounced back and forth between Jack and Susan for first place. I am a distant third. Always. Third.

This morning, after reviewing the first week totals, Jack decided, and I quote, "This calls for a smack-down of Celebrity Death Match proportions." He set out to beat my first week total in one day.

The picture below shows his numbers as of 9:07 p.m. for ONE DAY...today. I guess we've been smacked.

By the way, that readout indicates 52,545 actual steps which also equals: 42,052 aerobic steps, 2,578 calories burned and 24.87 miles walked.

Jack must be using some of his lawyering abilities to skew those numbers. Lawyers are tricky, as you know.

Ahh I am not worried, he can't maintain it.

Jen - Hmmmm, that is true.

Susan - I don't know. He might be out there running marathons before this thing is over. Omron has created a monster.

I don't believe it.

Laura - Hahahaha! For that comment, he'll do 60,000...on video...with witnesses.

Se7en - Every time I walk and bring my camera with me, I think of your pictures of mailboxes that you took when you were walking one day.

That's an awful lot of walking. Could Jack be hiring help? Or maybe strapping that pedometer to his dog or something? I don't know. Seems fishy to me...

Leslie - There are more than a few doubters in these comments. Obviously, you guys don't know Jack. Wait...that didn't come out right. :)
