In Laurie's Brain - After the Vacation

You know your teenagers had too much fun while you were out of town if…

…your bed is made but the pattern on the bedspread is upside down.

…they have developed an unusual interest in whether or not the cable television bill has come in.

…your non-teenage children suddenly have extra spending money and the teens are being really nice to them.

…the house is cleaner than when you left.

…your Vicodin is missing.

…there is MORE beer in the refrigerator than when you left.

…you come home early from work one day and your teenage son is mowing the neighbor’s lawn...for free.

…you can’t find your favorite bong.

Those are some definate points of worry. But were they the same brand of beer? My kids would have probably drank all the good shit and left me cheap crap.

Fuzz - Actually my son never left me any beer at all. Cheap little bastard.

Lorna - Oh, no! Knowing you and I though, we'll probably be partying with the grandkids while the parents are out of town. :)

Day-um, Laurie, that was dead spot on the money! BTDT. Naughty little buggers. I'm gonna miss them when they're all grown and out of my hair.

Britt - Oh, my goodness! I hope I haven't given you any ideas.

Sophmom - Now that I've survived mine (he was a good one, actually), I sure do miss him and his friends being around.

Nice pictures on your previous post.

I had an experience once with the bedspread thing. I went to spend a weekend at a friend's house while his folks were away. Of course, his girlfriend stayed. Of course, my girlfriend stayed. When his mother noticed that minor discrepancy, she threatened to tell my girlfriend's mother. I was scared. I didn't need Big Fred coming down on me. That was her father. Needless to say, my friend's mother thought better of the idea.
