Texas Gal - He's a singer from the '80s. You'd recognize him if you heard him.
I'd have to say that just because you heard him, you wouldn't automatically recognize him. If you happened to hear "Never Gonna Give You Up" you might recognize the song, but then you'd say, "That was him? That little don't-ask-don't-tell looking guy sounds like he has a set like Barry White's? No freakin' way!"
