A Cold Easter!

For all of my northerly situated blogging friends who always ask, "Where are your coats?" (especially Lorna) when I post pictures between September and May, this slideshow is for you:

We actually had sleet during our annual Easter crawfish boil. The temperatures were in the 70's Friday (approaching 80) and barely got out of the 40's on Saturday. For more pictures, click here.

Yeah, after having a week of 70-80 degree temps here, we are down to 20's & 30's this weekend - complete with snow.

You do know what snow is don't you?

:)

Gah, we had sleet here too! It didn't seem like Easter. :(

I could NEVER live up north.

I slept through easter, except for a brief time to get up and eat shrimp. I think it was colder here.

It isn't fair for Easter to be this cold. Grrrr.

It does seem as if spring is taking fits and starts to really get here. Last week we had 78. This week (all week) we have 52-58.

Grimm - I vaguely remember some cold white stuff falling from the sky about 30 years ago.
