Click here for everything you're afraid to know about current and recent earthquake activity. The maps above are a snapshot of the maps on the site at the time I did this post.
I'm not really shocked at the activity in the western United States, though Alaska seems a little bumpy. I would, however, like to know what the hell is going on in Puerto Rico. Is that normal?

You are just so full of useful information. I always learn something cool and exciting here.
Wow--I also am surprised how much activity there is on the West Coast, well, not in CA, but in the other states. Apparently, I managed to sleep through the one we had here in the London area a few weeks ago. I think it was a 4.5 or something like that.
My (very misguided) Puerto Rico theory: The seismologists and all their little earthquake-detecting gadgets are just picking up Richter Scale-registering hot Latin men and women dancing around in a passionate manner.
:)
Texas Gal - Hahaha! Thanks.
Just... - I didn't even know about your earthquake until someone left a comment on your blog. I must have slept through it, too.
Jen - I like it!
Freakin Latin America just had three 4.5's in one day. (March 11)
Grimm - Holy cow!
