More Ghostly Stuff

My sister Bonnie and I and our cousins, Susan and Brady (and Brady's friend, James) finished our ghost hunting class last weekend. It was given at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette by Louisiana Spirits and included an investigation of the Egan Hotel in Crowley, Louisiana. These guys give classes and seminars all over Louisiana and I highly recommend them. It was all very casual and a lot of fun, but we also learned a lot.

(Click here for pictures of the investigation.)

In a fit of paranormal enthusiasm, I also signed up for this. I'm such a ghost nerd.

That stuff scares me. I love to read true crime books and watch grisly movies, but anything supernatural scares the bejeezus out of me.

I agree, I think I'd be too scared. I'd just rather live my life not knowing if any of that stuff was real, it's a place I like to call Denial - it's a great place to visit! :)

You still need to come and check out my office. Mr. Gilbert's been quiet lately but we never know when he's going to act up.

Bonnie and I (Laurie's sister and Mom) attended a session with these guys last December on the Queen Mary in Los Angeles. It was a GREAT experience and a lot of fun. This time we were able to convince Laurie to come with us. The only thing is Laurie hates Cold Weather and in November in Colorado we will probably get snow. Sorry Laurie. But it will be very pretty and we will find a Friendly Ghost to keep you warm.

This actually sounds really fun! Safety in numbers, right? Did you find anything?

I'm not sure I'd actively do anything, but I'm a believer nonetheless. And not in The Monkees.

I think it sounds like a BLAST, Laurie. I may have to check into this one day...

When the wife and I a ghost hunt here, we had a great time. The was a teen in the group we were in that definitely was getting some paranormal attention.

Orbs would follow him and only him, sounds could be heard around him, etc.

Would love to go on more!

The class sounds cool and that trip? Awesome!!! I'd love to do something like that. Maybe once the kids are older.

Neal - Heck, yeah.

Grimm and Leslie - I would love to do a ghost hunt with you guys.
