Things I Learned About Coors Light

  1. No hangover (even though I started drinking them AFTER indulging in a big ass margarita)!

  2. Smoooooooth!

  3. A very subtle buzz.

  4. I might be onto something here.

It never let me down in college.

Leslie - It was so smoooooth, I drank two pretty quickly. I had to slow myself down. :)

"Liquor then beer, never fear." :)

Where do you find these product pictures? Do you take them yourself?

COORS LIGHT...can take it or leave it.

My dear, you really, really need a Sleemans Honey Brown....I just happen to have some in my fridge---cash in your airmiles and come for a reaaaaaally smoooooth beer.

Jen - I've definitely had hangovers drinking Smirnoff Ice after margaritas. Must be the malt.

Zina - I actually took that one myself at the STINGAREE FESTIVAL last year. It was my first Coors Light, I was drunk, I liked it and I didn't want to forget what I was drinking.

Lorna - What are these "airmiles" of which you speak?

I always felt a little sheltered living in Port Arthur (in reality, I was just oblivious), but last year was really your first Coors Light?

George - Not only was it my first Coors Light, it was only the second time IN MY WHOLE LIFE to drink a whole beer. My first time to drink an entire beer was at the 2007 Boys Haven Crawfish Boil.

I don't like beer.

(As it turns out, most folks in Southeast Texas don't consider Coor Light to actually be beer, so I guess that's why I like it.)

Happy your first beer was for charity. My then-18-year-old daughter was very much in the same boat as you. She and her mom joined friends in Mexico for graduation trip. Daughter won a chug-a-lug contest first night at the resort. Something about beginner's luck.

And, yea Southeast Texas men! Drinking anything that ends in Lite is like stopping to ask for directions.

Tear up that Man Card!

P.S. If you're a stout coffee fan, then shake the ice off a cold Shiner Bock. No similarity in taste, but you might appreciate the fullness (like I know what fullness means). Gotta be cold. May need to work you way up to Lorna's Honey Brown.

George - I like my coffee sweet and lots of cream and flavors. The "fullness" part of beer is what I don't like. The more like water, the better.
