I have to work today...

...and that sucks.

(The above cartoon is today's Dilbert which you can also find in your daily newspaper and at Dilbert.com. I have absolutely NO RIGHTS whatsoever to post that cartoon here. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.)

Happy New Year, Laurie. I'm sorry you have to work today. I hope you are able to kick back and relax tomorrow. BTW, you speak Italian?

Sudie Girl - Happy New Year!

Solo Poesie - That was so cute!!! Floods of kisses and hugs to you in the new year!

Comfort Addict - Yes, he is. :)

40 Forever - The rest of the holiday has been very relaxing. Regarding the Italian, Solo Poesie and Leon (my Spanish speaking blogger friend) found my blog at about the same time. I don't speak either Italian or Spanish but I pledged to learn. Sounds like a good resolution right there.

Serena Joy - Happy New Year to you, too!!!

Those are the kind of days that are like a 8 hour lunch break. Sorry you had to work, but I hope you got some Office Golf in or something.

Happy New Year!

Leslie - They did let us go home at 3:00 p.m., so it was like a 6 hour lunch break (because, of course, I simply had to take a whole hour for lunch).

I had to work both New Years Eve and New Years Day, so I made the most of it. I ripped about 40 CDs (as many as will fit into a business briefcase) into my work computer, then moved all of it onto this cool little 80-gig external hard drive I got from Santy Claus.

American productivity takes another hit, but I'm okay with it.

P.S. Long time, no see, Laurie. I am glad to see you are SAAAW (still alive and apparently well). Happy New Year.

Leon - I guess it's better than not having a job. Still sucks though.
