There's a little bit of Broadway in...everyone?

There is a television commercial being broadcast promoting the upcoming Tony Awards. The commercial innocently, arrogantly, ridiculously states that there's a "little bit of Broadway in everyone."

No.

No, there isn't.

Aw, come on... you don't think he could whip out "Oh the farmer and the cowman should be friends!" or "Surrey with the fringe on top"?

No... you're right.

Laura - Hahahah!

Jen - He might whip something out but I don't think it would be show tunes.

Speaking of show tunes, I recorded "Memory" over at SingShot.

Personally, I like the Tonys. It's an awards show where performers actually perform. However, I agree that saying there is a little bit of Broadway in everyone is more a post-hypnotic suggestion than a truth.

Comfort Addict - Yeah, I like the Tony's, too. I think your post-hypnotic suggestion was absolutely the plan.
