Recent Keyword Search Activity

Here are two search phrases peopled used today and were directed to my blog:

  • hemorrhoids cashews itch
  • cafe du monde jen husband hotel drink

I can't imagine what drama provoked the Cafe Du Monde search or what they were trying to find, but you just have to feel bad for the hemorrhoid dude. Cashews? You gotta wonder.

I am sooooooooo about to google that cashew phrase myself just to see what else turns up. Or pops out. Whatever.

Okay. The internet is nothing if not educational.

Re: Cashews. Turns out there are tons of traditional uses for them, or for various parts of the tree.

One such use:

Young leaves are used in the Philippines to treat diarrhea, dysentery, and hemorrhoids. Older leaves are used as hot poultices for burns and skin disorders.

Of course I had an entirely different image in mind about hemorrhoids and cashews until I googled it.

My work here is done.

Hi Laurie,
I think we should have a contest for the weirdest search terms. The other day I got "older girl still drinks mother's milk." Sometimes I'm convinced that kids are just typing in things to see where it gets them.

Liz

Abby - I had a different in mind, too. I thought the cashews were causing the hemorrhoids. Good work, Scooby.

Graham - Scary, ain't it?

Gangster - Hope we could help. Evidently, you should rub cashews on your swollen...uh...wherever it's swollen.

Jen - Ewwwwww!

Liz - Double ewwwwww!!!!!
