It's kind of like playing a video game and picking up a pair of glasses to advance in the game and then having to "walk" around the game wearing those stupid virtual glasses.
If you can't relate to that, it's also similar to the way the Invisible Man sees things in those Invisible Man movies. For some reason, when an Invisible Man walks around with bandages on his head (so that other people in the Invisible Man movie don't know he's invisible) he sees things as though he is looking through binoculars.
To put it yet another way, I feel like I'm the Invisible Man playing Doom.

You're so funny!
I went from rather large clunky frames to small ones like yours in February of this year. I promise, you do get used to it. Just involves moving your head a little more, less merely cutting your eyes. ;o)
