Today, on my way back from "$25 Optical" where my "opticals" somehow cost me $50 (how do they do that?), I saw a man skipping along the sidewalk on 11th Street. He was a black guy around 30 years old wearing a do-rag, t-shirt and knee length blue jeans...not your typical skipper.
So, tonight I was sitting here thinking, "Laurie, when's the last time you skipped?" So, I skipped. Just a little. When's the last time you skipped? I highly recommend it.
Tomorrow, I jump rope.

Several of my 7th graders skip sometimes. Even some of the boys. When asked about it they reply, "I just like how I feel when I skip!" That makes more sense than most of the other things that they say. :)
Fine, but I'm putting on some Depends first.
You Gnightgirl have been reading my mail! I sooo wish they had depends when my kids had a trampoline, and that was back in my twenties.
I jumped rope once a few years ago...let me know how it goes for you.
Skipping could be the next exercise craze. It's much more fun than jogging.
I saw a woman in her 50's skip out a store while dragging a wheeled suitcase. It was quite the sight, I wish I had a camcorder with me, I would youtube her for sure ;-)
