Poor bastard on the phone (talking to his friend): "Yes."

Can't say much . . . I found myself deep into a conversation with my wife's voice mail . . . so maybe I don't pay as much attention during phone calls as I should.

Oh, I hate those things. With Julia constantly going in the background, it never picks up what I am saying accurately.

I hate those those phone things like that. I just sit there and don't say anything. And they don't work from over here anyway. I guess because there is a slight delay.
Everybody - I hate them, too, and they're so embarrassing if you happen to be where you just have to do it in front of other people.
Oh this is always the brunt of many a joke whenever one of us here at work has to call one these things.
It is so bad that we try to disguise the fact so that our co-workers won't come over and screw up the phone call on purpose.
