On my front porch when I got home this evening:
- Autographed copy of Snake Farm (Ray Wylie Hubbard)
- The Money Pit (Tom Hanks (1986)...broken down house...if you haven't seen this one, you should)
- Mother Night (Kurt Vonnegut - the book, not the movie)
- Anthony Bourdain's Les Halles Cookbook
I love the internet.

I'm happy you got a shot of smart smart-ass men, but what does that have to do with the internet?
Lorna - The internet Gods delivered it all to my doorstep.
I love Kurt Vonnegut. I'm sure I've told you that before.
>1. Autographed copy of Snake Farm
According to USPS tracking, mine's been sitting in Grand Prarie since Wednesday. And since I had it sent to the office and the office is closed on Monday, I won't get mine until next Wednesday. Damn USPS.
>2. The Money Pit (Tom Hanks (1986)...broken down house...if you haven't seen this one, you should)
Seen it, done it, been there. I think I have it on DVD somewhere.
>3. Mother Night (the book, not the movie)
Mine's leather-bound and signed by the author. You can get one here.
>4. Anthony Bourdain's Les Halles Cookbook
Never heard of him. But based on the Amazon desciption, I think we'd get along.
Neal - I bet you did tell me that already. Old Horsetail likes him, too. I wonder if that's why we're all drawn to each other. Hmmmmm....
Jack - I think your leather-bound autographed Vonnegut trumps my autographed Hubbard.
Sheila - Yes! Hot, hot, hot.
I can't believe I can't get my dose of S.A.M...sigh...can you channel some cynacism my way? I especially live Anthony Bourdain!
Jersey - I thought I was the only one who liked Anthony Bourdain. My sister's don't care for him.
I love the Les Halles cookbook, he gives such an accurate view of restaurant cooking; the good, bad and ugly.
Danno - I need Bourdain in my kitchen to shame me into trying some of the recipes.
Right there with you on 3 out of 4. I'm gonna have to check into this Boudain guy, though.
Pokerboss - He's got a great show on the Travel Channel.
