I heard this song by Traffic today and realized I always wondered what it was about. While searching the internet, I found a new site (well, new to me) called Song Facts.
This is the Wikipedia link to the story behind the song Low Spark of High Heeled Boys because I couldn't make a Song Facts link work.

I love Michael J Pollard---can never get his cute little rumpled-up face out of my head.
Lorna - The first time I read the paragraph, I read it too fast and didn't realize it was THAT Michael J. Pollard. He does have a rumpled-up face!
I don't trust Wikipedia so much... if it allows just anybody to edit/add information, then I'm sure a lot of what's there are "facts" learned from a friend of a friend of a cousin's uncle's hairdresser's daughter's boyfriend's ex-lover's prison cell mate. I'm sure some/alot of it is accurate, but I don't like to go there for my facts anymore. If I ever look at Wikipedia, I do more research to back it up.
On another note: what is Traffic and who is Michael J. Pollard?
Jen - Traffic is a band from the early 70's and Michael J. Pollard played in Bonnie and Clyde and other movies in the early 70's.
