I receive CNN e-mail news alerts throughout the day. Between the alert and the unsubscribe information is always an ad.
This morning I received an alert about a hunger strike planned by Susan Sarandon and Cindy Sheehan for July 4th.
The ad was for Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
Isn't it ironic, don't you think?

One of my biggest regrets was not eating at Ruth's Chris' steak house.... I can taste it now....

I'm always hungry and can't go on hunger strikes. And yes, I feel the irony.

"Hunger Strike" is a good song by a group called Temple of the Dog. Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell together was my teenaged dream band. :o)

Well.. it won't take long because poor Susan is already thin enough!
As much as I dislike both women, I wish they would go on a hunger strike from July 4, 2006 to July 4, 2007. And therefore just fade away. Never could understand why a
"Hunger Strke", who cares is you won't eat. Less for you, more for me. You are only hurting yourself.

Ruth's Chris was the first (and, so far, only) place I've eaten snails. Anything is edible with enough butter and garlic.
Pokerboss - I've never eaten there, can you believe it? I've also never had snails. I must do that.
