Interesting some true, some not. I don't particularly like Valentine's Day, I believe you should show the people you like or love how you feel every day with every action you possibly can. Its like Christmas and presents, if I see something I want to give someone I just do it when I see it, when I feel it. I am very aware of how transient life can be. I don't think I am particularly romantic, I am more one the sensual side of the romantic, seductive, sensual continum.
That being said I do send Valentines, because I know its a hard day for many people, and I try to make it a bit better for them. I got my first and only telegram in response to a Valentine I sent to a friend.
I don't have an ideal Valentine's Day, an ideal day after is when the local store still has Hershey's chocolate covered marshmellow hearts, and they are priced at 4 for $1.
