The Christmas party season has begun. It's also high school football playoff season. The two worlds are colliding. It's 3:00 a.m. and I have to get up in about 5 hours to go to a playoff game in Houston in 40 degree weather. Laugh if you will my northern friends, but to me, that's COLD!
The Christmas party I just got home from was great but I'll be paying for it tomorrow...uh...make that today.
Ho, ho, ho.
Laurie, that's so cute that you go to high school football games! You're in good company. Lots of folks here do that too. Somehow I managed to avoid the cycle (but my teams won last night) and will be playin' in The Dome next weekend. Yee Haa!
ReplyDeleteAwww, I wanna go to a Christmas party.
ReplyDelete(BTW, did you get my voicemail!?!!?)
Sophmom - I must confess that I only go because my niece is in the drill team. Our poor team lost today but they had a great season.
ReplyDeleteJen - It was a great party! (Yes, I got the voicemail!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!)
I noticed at my daughters swimming lesson on Saturday that the pool was unusually quiet and mentioned it to another dad. He said that people had started to go away, I thought no, they were all nursing hangovers from Friday night, the official start of the silly season.
ReplyDeleteHell yeah, it's cold here too!! brrrrrrrr..... hehe I think it got down to 40!!!! eeep!
ReplyDelete:)
Neil - I bet you're right.
ReplyDeleteSe7en - That's COLD to me. You get it. :)

ReplyDeleteLorna - Bless your poor, little freezing over-worked heart.
