ah, now I understand! Not what I think of with the words pucker up, but now I shall.
Based on the number of laxative and regularity ads, I suspect most people up here get more plugged up than puckered up.
People around here don't talk about such things openly, of course they don't talk about most things openly, in fact some don't even really talk much at all!
I hope it gets better really soon, Laurie, it sounds uncomfortable. I was serious about the bananas by the way, they can help antibiotic related diarrhea.
Susan - Minnesota people are so different from Cajun people, aren't they? Thanks for the banana suggestion. I'll stop at Kroger on my way home. I love bananas!
Constipated thinking is the malady plaguing most of society, but at least you are not victim to that, Laurie. Of course, diarrhea of the mouth seems to run rampant as well. Anyway you dissect it, that's a lot of people in the john.
I suggest chicken soup or garlic broth for the cough and bananas twice a day for the runs.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what you mean by puckered up.
I hope you are feeling better.
Baby sis:
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I'll go buy some extra toilet paper for the house in case you decide to come over...LOL
Somebody from Minn. doesn't understand being puckered?
Baby sis- I am a transplant not a native Minnesotan ;-)
ReplyDeleteand a very sleepy transplant at that...
Susan - How shall I explain "puckered?" Does the word "clinched" give you a better idea of what my bung hole is doing?
ReplyDeleteBaby Sis - Hopefully, I've sufficiently explained "puckered."
Susan - Transplant or not, wherever you're from, they evidently don't have any "puckered up" assholes there.

ReplyDeleteI vote for chicken soup too!
ReplyDeleteAnd what an interesting and educational bunch of comments ;-)
Hope you feel better soon...
Yes, they are different. They even have their own language.
ReplyDeleteNorthern and outstate
Some of the language can come in quite handy at times.
With the except of Crinklequirk and Lisa, most of my friends here are transplants too!
Just... - I brought the comments on myself.
ReplyDeleteSusan - It makes me think of the movie Fargo. Great movie.

ReplyDeleteTrouble - I'm definitely not a constipated thinker. I try to control my mouth, but I let my brain run rampant.
ReplyDeleteCanadians don't know from puckered up either, but it does sound uncomfortable, so take care of yourself
ReplyDeleteLorna - I took my last antibiotic today, so things should start improving shortly.
ReplyDeleteHow horrible! I think sinus infections are the worst!
ReplyDeleteAlyson - I'm finally feeling better.
ReplyDeleteSusan - Thanks. :)
