Most people were pretty fascinated watching it form. Unless you were out on the lake, it wasn't a real threat to you, because water spouts stick to water pretty much. Can you imagine being out in a boat when that thing popped up? Holy crap!!!
I feel sorry for the Southeast, and feel so good that I live in the Northwest, where we don't got things like this.
