I think I finally went over the edge with the "out in the storm" reporting during Katrina and Rita. Go inside already and stop screaming for God sake. It was always exciting and fun and a bit scary all at the same time. But it was just another season, and we all lived in concrete houses and had generators and water tanks and usually checked into the Hyatt if it got really bad.

I mentioned some about in my post yesterday. I am looking for pictures.

Now about those "idiot reporters" careful, I'm married to one!

I'll agree it sometimes looks kinda silly, but honestly, would you take him seriously if he did his report from the hotel lobby?

Good to hear that you and Oakley made it through OK.Advocare Teresa In Beaumonthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03242484855866514665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8604246.post-58477677284089770052008-08-05T21:16:00.000-05:002008-08-05T21:16:00.000-05:00Poor Oakley! I've started calling him Dog Quiote fighting the great windstorms. Mr. DJ's office closed for the day, but everyone who flew in from Europe still met at the hotel downtown.TBMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05587580447766102705noreply@blogger.com
