They are very clean and if you leave your bathtub full or a small pool, they will be in and out all day - grooming themselves aftewards. They make a soft noise when they call for you. She would love to share icecream with us and an occasional M & M! Mostly she ate Veggies. We tried to take ours back to the wild, but she came back (over a mile!) to be at the door a couple days later! We were so sad when she died. Best pet ever!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8604246.post-13666863351955685032009-01-15T02:23:00.000-06:002009-01-15T02:23:00.000-06:00http://videos.nola.com/2008/09/molly_the_nutria_ra...http://videos.nola.com/2008/09/molly_the_nutria_rat.html

Molly the Nutria

Cute as a bug.

Link is above.

Many people have these as pets in Oregon.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8604246.post-4998604475747754842007-02-12T22:47:00.000-06:002007-02-12T22:47:00.000-06:00Grimm - Sooner than you think.Serena Joy - Nutria ...Grimm - Sooner than you think.

Serena Joy - Nutria recipes!

Texas Gal - Oh, that's pretty funny.Lauriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04321713951006827527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8604246.post-77890171689150510432007-02-12T19:20:00.000-06:002007-02-12T19:20:00.000-06:00I had a co-worker that once told me a joke about N...I had a co-worker that once told me a joke about Nutria...it was one of those cajun jokes and he could do the whole accent thing and all. All I can remember about it was something about a cajun drawing chalk circles around dead nutria on the way into town so on his way home he'd know which ones were fresh hit to take home and cook up. Jungle and monkey and sex, I guess I can understand; I think those terms have been mentioned. What I don't get are the ones like dominatrix, hot Asian girls, warts (in unmentionable places), rubber gear... I'm pretty sure I've never even thought of discussing those.

I looked back at your old post -- nutria recipes?! Aggghhh! I saw a dead nutria on a beach once. I didn't know what it was 'til somebody told me. I think I'd starve before eating one. Or its brother the muskrat, either.Serenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00798532682456165053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8604246.post-19135308934415569422007-02-12T14:17:00.000-06:002007-02-12T14:17:00.000-06:00Yeah, I was gonna click...but considering I have n...Yeah, I was gonna click...but considering I have no freaking clue what animal it is that you speak of...I will kindly pass.

And besides, I have a feeling I will find out anyway.Grimmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05618338903910867948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8604246.post-53346222078291134272007-02-12T07:05:00.000-06:002007-02-12T07:05:00.000-06:00Joshua - Aggghhh!
