Where Does This Sh*t Go?!

Where is my 1964 AM Gold CD?! Today, I brought five of my AM Gold CDs to work for my personal listening pleasure. When I opened the 1964 case, there was no CD.

I don't lose things. I have every school picture ever taken of my son except for his second grade group picture and I have every checkbook register I’ve ever had since my first checking account except for one register from the fall of 1982. I also can't find the CD case for my soundtrack of My Best Friend’s Wedding. Where is all that stuff?

Is the '64 AM Gold CD in some car I traded in? Is it in a CD player in a beach cabin I once rented? Is it in a portable CD player I sold in a garage sale?

When I was young and living under the parent's roof, my father always blamed my brother and I for not returning things of his that we borrows like tools, etc, even if we tried to tell him we hadn't even touched the lost item.

Now years after we moved out of the house, he still loses things and I get back at him every chance I get since his scapegoats now live miles and miles away. He has taken the first step of twelve and has finally admitted that he is the problem but darn if we can find where he is losing everything. I figure someday at the estate sale we will find a hidden room or building on the farm full of all these missing items.

I feel your pain Laurie Kay, I go completely Apesh*t when I can't find something, I just can't rest. I always blame my wife, "What did you do with my...?", but 99% of the time I put it somewhere.

I think your CD is hiding with my favorite running-top! Maybe we should put up signs saying WANTED, in perfect state or not, a 1964 AM Gold CD and a white running-top.

Sleepybomb - Since I don't know how long it's been missing, I can still blame my son!

Ed - My dad always blamed us for all the eaten snacks and cookies. Now that we've all moved out, mom finally knows who was eating all that food. :)

Glod - That's true. A nice matching set.

Danno - At least you have someone to blame. (Sorry wifey.)

Astrid - Perhaps they're jogging together out there somewhere in another dimension. Hmmmmm....

Maybe they are in the same place with all of the missing socks.

I always find something I lost when I am looking for the next thing I lost. (does that make sense?)

ok...I was going to say something else...but I lost my train of thought...HAHA. I need to go to bed.

Zina - Sometimes I misplace things or put things in a weird place and I always find that stuff pretty quickly. It's the things that are hopelessly lost that drive me nuts, especially things that I have a specific place for like the CD and the checkbook register.
